White River Junction, Vermont
Handcrafted functional art for the table and home, made with thirty years of love on a small Vermont farm.
Yes, we really do have three Nigerian Dwarf goats. No, they are not actually angry. The name reflects a dry New England sense of humor and a genuine love of making people smile — a small and important reminder not to take life too seriously.
"Clay is an endlessly versatile medium — I am fascinated by taking an idea and turning it into something tangible, something with the potential to become an heirloom."
Our maker, Dawn, has been obsessed with ceramics for more than 30 years. Each piece begins with an idea rooted in the everyday: the texture of a leaf collected on a walk through the forest, the worn beauty of a shared table, the way light falls across the meadow at golden hour.
The work is mostly functional, with some purely decorative pieces. All of it is inspired by a love of shared meals and conversation around the table at a tiny farm in rural Vermont, and by the animals, plants, and seasons of the natural world that surround it.
Every piece that leaves this studio is meant to earn a place in your daily life — and maybe, in time, become part of your family's story.
Each piece is designed to be both beautiful and useful — something you reach for every morning and still notice every time.
Wheel-thrown mugs and tumblers for your daily rituals — the kind you'll reach for first thing every morning, season after season.
Serving pieces built for the shared table — including our signature origami-fold bowls, squared and elevated on tiny feet, where craft becomes art.
Garlic graters, spoon rests, and match strikers — the small pieces that make a kitchen feel complete and a little more handmade.
Ornaments, trinket dishes, and one-of-a-kind decorative pieces — inspired by the botanical and animal world, changing with the seasons.
Our hallmark origami-fold bowls — squared off, elevated on tiny feet — are where utility and artistry meet. Each one is hand-formed and finished, a functional sculpture for the everyday table.
New pieces are listed on Etsy regularly as the seasons turn and inspiration strikes. Every item is handcrafted and one of a kind.
